Awesome Game!  If this had more meta progression, a bunch more plants, and ways to upgrade your growing abilities, tools, cosmetics; I would play this for hours.  I would definitely pay $10 or so to buy a game like that for my fiancee.  She's really into plants and sim games like this.  She spent a whole week playing a pizza making game with similar art.

It is a great fun simple game. Took the stress out from a hectic day.

I really love the shear sounds and how happy skelly gets :)

Is SO satisfying to trim the plants with all the sound effects.

Cool game

I saw your YouTube video about the game. It's really impressive what you've created.

Love it :) well done

This game is so cool! Would honestly play a full version. You could have different plants require different waterings, soil care, sunlight. Build out the skeleton's world more and compete against NPCs in garden shows for coins. Add some more depth to the shop element with actual customers coming in to buy your plants. So many possibilities!

Anyway, thanks for this! I had a lot of fun with it :)

Very simple yet satisfying gameplay, clean and polished, letting you know though, I have scaling issues, playing on a 4k wide display the scroll bars are eating into the game window unfortunately, still had fun but would love a downloadable option to remove the bars.

The yt vid was awesome btw! kicked me back onto my game dev flow, thanks!

Game is super cute. But, the music absolutely crawls on my system, and when you change the pot color you lose the water bar.

The art is super cute

Great pocket game. Well done!

Few thoughts I'd like to see;

Visually distinction;

*    Stages of growth:

    Soil, Sprout, Baby, Adolescent, Adult / Flowering, Dead

    Each stage is visually distinct, in HSV and shape language if possible

    "Orange dried/dead leaves are curled up with jagged stems"

*    Status:

    Growth % on pot or visibly queued (e.g. flower at 100%)

    Water gauge all the time

*    Passage of time:

    Additional Mechanic - A hands clock. or digital

    Additional Mechanic - calendar + day notes.

    Additional Mechanic - window interest; Day/night, random weather, birds perched on ledge, nosy neighbors peeking in, etc.

*    Ownership:

    Additional Mechanic - Furnish your room

    Additional Mechanic - Dress your skelly

Risk / reward;

    under/over watering = underdeveloped, stunted/nonflowering, or dead plant

    Clicking in an area with no dead leaves harms the plant - trims a leaf/flower

    Additional Mechanic - Buyers looking for a particular kind of plant. Keep the 100% plant = x coin, but have buyer multiplier.

    Additional Mechanic - save / plant your own seeds, or buy a already rooted plant (from shop as is). Your seeds may not germinate. Or you may get few seed from your plant.

Neat first godot project. I respect the attention to detail for a small scope.

Would love to see you try a small 3D game in the same engine. Perhaps a bite sized fps? 🍻
