I liked the choice of music; it made me feel kind of sentimental. Also, knowing that this game was made in Godot made me feel encouraged to pick up my game dev hobby again, since Godot is my favorite engine! Thanks for making this game!
I have free source code up on my itch page along with a YouTube tutorial that walks you through how it all works. It’s aimed at Godot beginners. Thought you might be interested. I was just looking at this adorable game (didn’t realize it was a Godot project) and saw your comment. Good luck with your game dev journey, however you choose to learn it! https://baconandgames.itch.io/lets-make-snake-source
been working hard on it! made like pot switch, skelly, clippers, water can. thats it because I just started 2 days ago and have to deal with exams so it should take a week or 2
Awesome Game! If this had more meta progression, a bunch more plants, and ways to upgrade your growing abilities, tools, cosmetics; I would play this for hours. I would definitely pay $10 or so to buy a game like that for my fiancee. She's really into plants and sim games like this. She spent a whole week playing a pizza making game with similar art.

This game is so cool! Would honestly play a full version. You could have different plants require different waterings, soil care, sunlight. Build out the skeleton's world more and compete against NPCs in garden shows for coins. Add some more depth to the shop element with actual customers coming in to buy your plants. So many possibilities!
Anyway, thanks for this! I had a lot of fun with it :)
Very simple yet satisfying gameplay, clean and polished, letting you know though, I have scaling issues, playing on a 4k wide display the scroll bars are eating into the game window unfortunately, still had fun but would love a downloadable option to remove the bars.
The yt vid was awesome btw! kicked me back onto my game dev flow, thanks!
I am really bad a programming and stuff just cant rap my head arround it but this is so sweet and kinda what i think game development is i saw the video on yt and came here right away i think its so cute and thanks for showing how relaxing programing can be
I enjoyed your video on making this game so much that I had to come try it for myself. This is really fun and engaging. I simple love the art style. You did a great job! Thank you!

It is a great fun simple game. Took the stress out from a hectic day.
I really love the shear sounds and how happy skelly gets :)
Is SO satisfying to trim the plants with all the sound effects.
Cool game
no money, no plants
amazing and cute game, would love if it was longer and had more plant options. Nonetheless 100% recommend it <3

Her: So you like cactuses huh?
Me: Yeah, how did you know?

Game is super cute. But, the music absolutely crawls on my system, and when you change the pot color you lose the water bar.
